Salmon Science - Stream Temperature Monitoring

This interactive site describes how warming stream temperatures are affecting salmon. The site also discusses potential solutions.

The project's monitoring network works to collect consistent, comparable temperature data for Cook Inlet’s salmon streams. They use these data to document the rate of stream temperature increases and areas where threshold temperatures are crossed throughout the watershed. The network leverages data and information to provide the knowledge needed to prioritize sites for future research, protection, and restoration actions.
