          Quick Drought Response Index (QuickDRI)
Clear maps on this site can help identify the potential for rapid-onset, “flash drought” events.
This index is a short-term indicator of dryness, calculated through the analysis of satellite- and model-based observations of conditions that influence drought. It provides a snapshot of anomalously dry or wet conditions over the past four weeks. Map images of the contiguous United States are updated weekly.
