Foundations of Climate Science

This course provides fundamental instruction for participants to achieve basic understanding of climate change concepts. Emphasis will be placed on defining common vocabulary and identifying key concepts.

Course Objectives:
Explain the concept of climate change and its impact on climate variability.
Explain how climate change impacts natural disasters to increase the risk for vulnerable populations and regions.
Identify the current methods used to monitor and address climate change and emergency management
