Training a climate-ready workforce to manage the impacts of climate change on water resources in Ohio coastal communities

The Ohio State University convenes a partnership with a community organization, local utility services, community colleges, HBCU colleges, and employers. The partnership will train technicians, scientists and engineers to make water industries climate-smart throughout the Great Lakes (especially Lake Erie). Training addresses water quality (monitoring and modeling), geographic information systems (GIS), stormwater infrastructure, and environmental policy and management. Participants come from a variety of career levels.
