Option

As of early FY26, Montgomery County has secured over $2.1 million in confirmed climate-related grant awards through the Maryland Energy Administration. The County is closely monitoring the evolving federal and state grant landscape and remains ready to adapt its strategies and messaging to remain competitive and responsive to new opportunities. The county plans to have a regional collaboration to support zero emission vehicle deployment and workforce development, and a grant application focused on composting and food recovery infrastructure, with a workforce training component.
