Community Health Resilience Guide and Toolset

Communities can use this site to maintain or improve their health resilience during steady-state conditions. It can also help them enhance preparedness for man-made or environmental disasters.

The Community Health Resilience Initiative (CHRI) is a collaborative project, involving both public and private-sector partners, that aims to strengthen community health resilience across the country. The CHRI site combines a Community Health Resilience Planning Guide with Community Health Resilience-related tools. The tools on the site can help communities maintain or improve their health resilience during steady-state conditions, and it can also help them enhance preparedness for man-made or environmental disasters, including climate change impacts.

Users can search over 200 tools by keyword, and they can filter searches by state, resource type, hazard, and mission area. Search results describe each tool’s use, mission areas, and functional capability.
