NOAA's North Central Monthly Regional Climate Summary and Outlook Series
With a growing emphasis on climate information in the decision-making process, the Midwestern and High Plains Regional Climate Centers teamed up to archive a series of monthly webinars provided by NOAA: the Midwest and Great Plains Climate and Drought Outlook and the North Central U.S. Monthly Climate and Drought Outlook. These webinars include presentations that, among other topics, summarize recent precipitation and temperature trends, discuss flooding and drought issues, review past and potential future impacts, and provide the latest precipitation and temperature outlooks. The webinars reserve time for questions and discussion among participants.
Past webinars are archived and available from each of the Regional Climate Center's websites:
- Midwestern Regional Climate Center | Multimedia: Climate Summary & Outlook Webinars
- High Plains Regional Climate Center | Webinars
Users can complete a one-time registration for the webinar series, which does not need to be repeated for subsequent sessions after initial registration.
