USFS Climate Gallery - Streamflow in a Changing Climate StoryMap
This StoryMap provides access to the newest projected streamflow analysis across the contiguous United States over the coming century.
We live in a changing world. Temperatures, precipitation patterns, and the amounts of annual snowpack are all changing. With these changes, there will be a host of effects on streams, including changes to annual streamflow, size, and frequency of flood events, the timing of seasonal flow patterns, and severity of droughts. These changes, in turn, will affect fish, ecosystems, and human communities that depend on these streams.
