Description
The Quarterly Climate Impacts and Outlook for the Midwest Region provides a summary of the region's weather and climate impacts from the previous quarter, and outlooks for conditions during the coming quarter. The region encompasses Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
In addition to a national-scale recap, the product highlights recent conditions observed across the Midwest Region and discusses regional events such as temperature and precipitation anomalies, particularly in regard to the occurence of the first freeze of the fall. For the upcoming quarter, the product offers outlooks documenting the most likely temperature and precipitation conditions, as well as potential impacts from La Niña.
