U.S. Agricultural Commodities in Drought

The percent area of various commodities affected by drought each week is presented in data tables, graphs, maps, and animations. 

Information is available on Row Crops, Livestock and Forage, Specialty Crops, and Crop Progress. All drought information is derived from the U.S. Drought Monitor, and is updated each Thursday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of the Chief Economist. An archive of the weekly reports back to 2012 is also available on the website.
