Option

Guam Power Authority estimates that contractors will install approximately 170 MW of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This will provide an excellent opportunity for Guam to develop the workforce capacity needed to construct these facilities. The operations and maintenance of these facilities will require individuals with strong technical skills. Without such storage, Guam Power Authority would have a high risk of blacking out on a regular basis.
