Support community-led initiatives through Community Climate Resilience grants - King County will establish a community climate resilience grant program awarding multi-year grants. The program will lower barriers to access through grantmaking, providing technical support and funding pathways for small minority-owned businesses, contractors, and community-based nonprofits. Applicants and grantees will receive appropriate levels of support to complete applications, and if awarded, receive support to successfully execute activities and fulfill reporting requirements. This will support frontline communities' ability to lead and organize effective action on climate change.
