Life Cycle Assessment evaluates the environmental impacts of a product or service throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to disposal. The LCA Commons is a central point of access to data repositories for use in Life Cycle Assessment.
Users can explore quantified estimates of the inputs and outputs associated with the range of phases in products’ life cycles. Each database comes from an interagency community of practice that follows agreed-upon research methods.
