The app's remote sensing data enables a diverse range of applications across disciplines such as aerosols, atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric dynamics, cryosphere, hydrology, ocean biology, oceanography, and the water and energy cycle. Available measurements range from aerosol indices to wind, and include air temperature, carbon, flooding, heat flux, particulate matter, precipitation, runoff, sea surface temperature, soil moisture, streamflow, surface temperature, and water storage.
