SURGEDAT: The World's Storm Surge Data Center

This website lists the location and height of more than 700 tropical storm surge events around the world since 1880. The data were mostly collected from scientific sources, including government reports, historic maps, academic papers, and books. Additionally, anecdotal sources such as newspaper articles provide data for smaller-magnitude storm surges in the earlier part of the record.
