The National Weather Service's Office of Services webpage features free, downloadable outreach materials to help communities prepare for weather emergencies. Topics include climate, emergency preparedness, floods, heat, hurricanes, thunderstorms, tsunami, and winter storms, among others. 

Publications are available in PDF format, requiring the freely available Adobe Reader® software to view. Many of these publications are available only online. However, some publications noted on the webpage can be obtained in printed form from local National Weather Service offices, the NOAA Education Outreach Center, or the American Red Cross. There is no charge for the publications.
